I love how she looks at him here. Like she can’t quite believe something like him exists! :)) (Yes, they are both high, but that doesn’t change the fact that she is letting herself marvel freely. Something she would usually hide under sarcasm and hostility).
It’s like they’re seeing the stripped down essence of who they are, and just marvelling at it like children, because it is beautiful. I’m guilty of being all “What?! They went to Narnia?! Shut up, doofus Eric! Go get your leather!!” But now, thinking about it again, it’s all so beautiful… if you suspend disbelief and imagine what it would be like to be Sookie and Eric, feeling these feelings? It’s the most romantic thing ever. He can never be the same with this in him.
